1. Make yourself heard. MOAA’s chapters provide critical grassroots support for MOAA national legislative agenda. Let legislators know what is on our minds and open doors for MOAA’s legislative team in Washington, D.C.

2. Give back to the community. You can see from our actions, this is what we do. We are MOAA’s ambassadors in our community.

3. Network with fellow officers.

4. Stay informed. Our chapter newsletter, website, and meetings provide you the latest information on local, state, and national issues and changes to military benefits.

5. Influence state legislation. We work with CAL MOAA, our state's council of chapters, which unites every MOAA chapter in the state to lobby for and pass state-level legislation that affects military members and their families.

Being in the state capitol, our chapter closely supports the lobbying firm of Pete Conaty, LTC (Ret), and Col Griess of our chapter serves with Cal MOAA in this effort. To learn more Click Here!
